Based in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, we are a floral design studio specialising in bespoke flowers for weddings, events, and everyday moments, as well as creative floristry workshops for all skill levels.

From the natural curves of wild stems to the soft petals of peonies and the romantic scent of garden roses, we believe nature’s beauty should be celebrated in full bloom.

Working from our flower studio on a peaceful corner of our farm, our signature style is garden-gathered, delicately wild, and abundantly styled. Hello, I’m Michelle, a passionate wedding florist and floral designer dedicated to creating stunning bespoke wedding flowers and inspiring floral workshops. This photo captures me with one of a beautiful floral installation, created on the streets of Mayfair, London —a perfect example of the sheer joy I feel when working with flowers.

My floristry journey began while I was still working in education, delivering teacher training and student revision workshops. Seeking a creative outlet, I enrolled in a professional floristry course. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a full-time passion. I found myself carrying floristry snips on dog walks, foraging wildflowers and branches to craft unique floral designs. Inspired by natural forms and floral art in films, I developed a deep love for floral design.

To refine my skills, I completed specialist floral design courses and freelanced with experienced florists. This experience inspired me to launch Rory and Rose, (named after my beloved Cavapoo, Rory, and my favourite flower, the rose.)

At Rory and Rose, I specialise in bespoke wedding floral arrangements, including bridal bouquets, ceremony décor, and reception flowers tailored to your style and vision. I also lead engaging floral workshops and flower arranging classes, designed for beginners and enthusiasts who want to learn hands-on floral design skills.
